Acquisition Specialist - State Farm Agent Team Member

Matt Mangold State Farm is seeking an Acquisitions Specialist who will thrive in building relationships, generating new business, and closing sales. This role offers growth opportunities and competitive compensation.
Responsibilities
- Generate new business through outbound prospecting, referrals, networking, and lead follow-up
- Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified prospects
- Conduct needs-based conversations to identify customer risks and recommend insurance solutions
- Quote, present, and close auto, home, renters, life, and other insurance products
- Follow up consistently to convert opportunities into written business
- Build lasting client relationships that generate referrals and repeat business
- Track sales activity and production goals using agency systems
- Collaborate with team members to support overall agency growth
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with agency and insurance regulations
Requirements
- Licensing Requirement (Job Contingent): Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses are required
- Candidates are not required to be licensed before their start date
- We provide comprehensive licensing support, study resources, coaching, and guidance throughout the entire licensing process
- Candidates are expected to obtain both required licenses within the timeframe established by the agency
Qualifications
- Sales-driven, competitive, and motivated by achieving results
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and closing skills
- Confidence initiating conversations and asking for the business
- Self-motivated with excellent follow-up and time management skills
- Organized and goal-oriented
- Previous sales, business development, retail sales, customer acquisition, or insurance experience preferred
