Responsibilities
- Provide senior-level acquisition and contract management support to government program offices and contracting teams.
- Support pre-award and post-award contract administration activities in accordance with FAR, DFARS, and agency guidance.
- Prepare and maintain acquisition documentation including Statements of Work, Performance Work Statements, IGCEs, J&A documentation, acquisition plans, funding documents, and contract modifications.
- Track deliverables, milestones, funding status, periods of performance, and contractual actions.
- Support proposal evaluations, market research, and acquisition package development.
- Program & Organizational Support:
- Maintain acquisition trackers, contract status reports, briefing materials, and executive summaries.
- Support acquisition reporting requirements, data calls, and program reviews.
- Care for meeting coordination, suspense management, task tracking, and acquisition workflow activities.
- Prepare executive correspondence, memoranda, acquisition briefings, and staffing packages.
- Compliance & Process Improvement:
- Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, Department of the Air Force, and U.S. Space Force acquisition policies and procedures.
- Support process improvement initiatives focused on acquisition efficiency and organizational accountability.
- Maintain proper handling of procurement-sensitive, proprietary, and classified information.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 10 years of experience supporting federal acquisition, contract administration, or DoD contracting operations.
- Experience supporting DoD, U.S. Space Force, U.S. Air Force, Intelligence Community, or related acquisition organizations.
- Strong working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and federal acquisition processes.
- Experience supporting acquisition lifecycle activities including planning, award, modification, and closeout.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
- Preferred: Experience supporting Space Systems Command, SDA, NRO, or other national security space organizations.
- Preferred: Familiarity with defense acquisition lifecycle management and major capability acquisition programs.
- Preferred: DAWIA certification or equivalent acquisition certification.
- Preferred: Experience with contract writing systems and acquisition reporting tools.
