Accounts Receivable Temporary Support
Position Overview
We have an opportunity for a detail-oriented, proactive individual who is dedicated to exceptional analysis to join our Accounts Receivable Team as Accounts Receivable Support working with our US Retail, Food Service and Canada business.
Responsibilities
- Ownership over check processing including problem solving, research, analysis, and independent decision making
- Work in multiple systems, and understand how they interact with each other
- Collaborate with internal and external business partners, brokers, sales, IT, finance, customer service and logistics
- Handle the administration of adherence to deduction policies and procedures
- Continuous improvement mindset while being accountable for deduction metrics and continually able to analyze and explain impact of deduction transactions and check requests
- Willing to educate, support sales/brokers on deduction/claims process
- Provide weekly and/or monthly reporting to management as needed
Education & Experience
- Pursuing or completed coursework/degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field preferred
- Prior experience or exposure to Accounting, Finance, Accounts Receivable, or related business processes preferred
Skills
- Computer Skills – with emphasis in Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, One Note
- Drives change and seeks opportunities for process improvements and personal growth
- Excellent communication skills and ability to develop relationships with business partners
- Able to adapt to change quickly and efficiently while meeting or exceeding established metrics
Requirements
- Time Commitment: 10-15 hours per week
- The length of this temporary assignment will be based on company needs
- Candidates must be available to work at least through the end 2026
- Must be at least 18 years old
