About the Role
CV Resources is partnering with a well-established, growing organization to hire an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager. This is an outstanding opportunity for a collaborative leader who enjoys developing teams, improving processes, and partnering across the business to strengthen financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Accounts Receivable team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Oversee daily billing, cash application, collections, and customer account reconciliations.
- Monitor aging reports and collection activity to improve cash flow and reduce outstanding balances.
- Partner with Sales, Customer Service, and Finance to resolve billing issues and enhance the customer experience.
- Analyze key AR metrics, including DSO, aging, collection effectiveness, and unapplied cash.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and financial reporting standards.
- Support month-end and year-end close activities, budgeting, forecasting, and audit requests.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, implement best practices, and support ERP enhancements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of progressive Accounts Receivable or accounting experience.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of billing, collections, cash application, reconciliations, and AR best practices.
- Experience working with ERP/accounting systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to build relationships across departments and lead process improvements.
