Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts receivable activities, including reviewing outstanding balances and keeping customer account records current.
- Apply incoming payments accurately and reconcile cash receipts to ensure transactions are posted correctly.
- Contact commercial customers regarding past-due invoices and follow through on collection efforts in a thorough manner.
- Prepare and process billing-related documentation to support timely and accurate invoicing.
- Enter financial data with a high degree of accuracy and maintain organized electronic and scanned records.
- Research payment discrepancies and work with internal partners to resolve account issues efficiently.
- Monitor receivable aging reports and escalate problem accounts when necessary.
- Support cash collection processes by tracking payments and updating account status details.
Requirements
- Experience working in accounts receivable, including payment posting and account follow-up.
- Background in commercial collections with the ability to communicate professionally with customers.
- Hands-on experience with cash applications and cash collection activities.
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience scanning and maintaining financial or customer documentation in an organized manner.
- Familiarity with billing support functions and invoice-related processes.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a busy retail environment.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates should have:
- Current residency in Hawaii preferred due to job requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in a similar role preferred.
