Sunbelt Home Solutions is a fast-growing home improvement company serving homeowners throughout Florida. As we continue to expand, we're looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in St. Petersburg.This is a great opportunity for someone early in their accounting career who has a basic understanding of A/R and A/P and is ready to learn. Extensive experience isn't required. We're willing to train and develop the right person who brings attention to detail, organization, and a willingness to grow. What You'll DoEnter daily customer invoices, vendor bills, and credit card chargesMonitor aging reports and follow up on payment delays or discrepanciesApply customer payments and maintain accurate A/R recordsReconcile A/R, A/P, and credit card accounts at month-endWork with our sales and customer service teams to resolve billing questionsCommunicate with our production team regarding subcontractor and vendor issuesHelp maintain accurate and organized financial records What We're Looking ForBasic knowledge of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable preferred, but not requiredEntry-level accounting experience or relevant education is welcomeStrong attention to detail and accuracyOrganized and able to manage multiple prioritiesComfortable communicating with different departmentsWorking knowledge of Microsoft ExcelQuickBooks experience is a plusLead Perfection experience is a plus, but not requiredWillingness to learn, take feedback, and continue developing your accounting skills Why Join Sunbelt?Bonus opportunityPaid weeklyNo weekendsMedical, dental, and vision benefits after 90 daysPTO after 90 days401(k) Training and development for someone looking to grow their accounting careerPositive, people-first workplaceOpportunity to grow with an expanding company This is a full-time, on-site position in St. Petersburg, Florida.
