Accounts Payable Specialist (Temp)

Location: Wall Township, NJ | Full-Time, Temporary (6-12 month contract)

About the Role

This is a temporary Accounts Payable Specialist position reporting to the Director of Finance. The role is designed to support high-volume, fast-paced accounts payable operations.

Responsibilities

• Resolve invoice exceptions within the Payables Portal
• Perform two-way match for parts invoices
• Respond to AP inquiries
• Reconcile vendor statements
• Audit expense reports
• Verify and log vendor banking changes
• Research stale payments (checks and virtual credit cards)
• Upload invoice allocations
• Perform other related duties as required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2-3 years of Accounts Payable experience
• Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Effective time management skills
• Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as a team player while taking ownership of assigned responsibilities
• Advanced Excel experience (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.)
