Accounts Payable Specialist

About the role

Location: Onsite, Salt Lake City, UT. Employment type: Temporary (approximately 3 months) with potential to convert to a permanent role based on performance and business need. Responsibilities

• Process high-volume invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices (3-way match)
• Code and enter invoices into Great Plains (GP)
• Prepare and process weekly/biweekly check runs, ACH, and wire payments
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive vendor relationships
• Assist with month-end close processes related to AP
• Maintain accurate and organized AP records and documentation
• Support audits by providing requested documentation
• Identify and communicate process improvement opportunities

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience required
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains (GP) strongly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in high-volume data entry
• Solid understanding of AP best practices and internal controls
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables a plus)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work onsite in Salt Lake City for the duration of the assignment
• Available to start immediately

Pay

$20–$22/hour
