Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Summary

Outpatient Imaging Affiliates (OIA) is seeking a Full-time, Hourly, Non-Exempt Accounts Payable Specialist to join their accounting team. Responsibilities

• Review, code, and enter invoices/check requests
• Gather and compile purchase orders, charge slips, and sales tickets
• Prepare payments
• Update bank information and daily cash spreadsheets
• Enter employee expense reports
• Tie out payables ledger with general ledger at month end
• Prepare weekly invoice batches for review by Treasury Manager
• Match check stubs with invoices and mail them
• Perform weekly cash reconciliations between bank, cash spreadsheet, and Oracle
• Update utility spreadsheet weekly to ensure prompt payment and identify missing invoices
• Set up autopay for utility/telephone vendors where possible
• Scan weekly AP check stubs and invoice backups

Requirements

• Minimum of one (1) year experience in accounting or related field
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Ability to work independently and multitask
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field

Qualifications

• Ability to lead and direct the work of others
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
