Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Rockland, MA | 5 days onsite | Full-time | $65,000–$75,000

About the role

We are seeking an AP Specialist with 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience to join our team. This is a high-volume role for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Code and process vendor invoices
• Pay invoices online and manage weekly check runs for all open invoices
• Reconcile and code credit card statements
• Process and code employee expense and mileage reimbursements
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Perform data entry and general bookkeeping support as needed
• Manage high invoice volume, including up to 1,000 invoices per week during peak periods

Requirements

• 2+ years of bookkeeping, accounts payable, or related accounting experience
• Accounting degree preferred
• QuickBooks Online and Excel required
• ADP experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a high-volume environment
• Must be able to pass a CORI/background check
• Must provide 2 professional references
