Accounts Payable Specialist

Responsibilities

• Processing purchase invoices through three-way matching (POs, invoices, receipts).
• Posting purchase ledger entries into the accounting system, including invoices, payments and allocations.
• Preparing all payment runs.
• Maintaining vendor records and supporting onboarding documentation.
• Managing Concur staff expenses system.
• Assisting with year-end audits and 1099 preparation.
• Serving as backup for the PO process.
• Implementing and adhering to controls.
• Monitoring aging reports and helping maintain healthy vendor relationships.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience within an Accounts Payable capacity.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail & a good understanding of Excel.
• Good financial knowledge.
• Highly organized and able to prioritize your workload appropriately.
• Collaborative and proactive approach.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience with accounting systems and Excel.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
• Experience with expense management systems like Concur.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
