Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join the fast-growing [Branch] Team.

Job Responsibilities

• Review and process all vendor invoices, ensuring correct coding and approval
• Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on outstanding issues
• Match purchase orders to invoices and resolve discrepancies
• Process weekly check runs and electronic payments
• Manage processing and coding of all credit card charges
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor files
• Respond promptly and professionally to all vendor inquiries
• Aid in month-end closing as necessary
• Cash applications
• Perform additional duties and provide support as needed to ensure smooth and efficient accounts payable operations

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 3 years' experience in accounting
• 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Effective communication skills both verbal and written
