Accounts Payable Specialist

Key responsibilities

• Processing and booking of incoming invoices for the European companies within the Group
• Processing of travel expenses
• Monitoring, reconciliation, and maintenance of open creditor items, including clarification of discrepancies
• Closing collaboration with internal departments and external vendors to ensure accurate and timely invoice processing
• Active support of monthly and annual financial statements
• Participation in projects related to process optimization and the ongoing redesign of the Finance department

Skills, knowledge and expertise

• Completed apprenticeship as Accountant, preferably at least 2 years of relevant work experience
• Alternatively, completed studies in Business Administration with a focus on accounting
• Practical work experience in accounts payable or general accounting
• Independent, structured, and precise way of working
• Hands-on mentality combined with a team-player attitude that is motivating and supportive
• Good communication skills, particularly very good English skills proven in an international environment
