Accounts Payable Specialist

A well-established transportation and services company is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support day-to-day accounts payable operations and accounting functions. This role will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely vendor payments in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Managing the full-cycle accounts payable process, including invoice entry, coding, and posting to the general ledger
• Reviewing and reconciling vendor invoices, purchase orders, receiving documentation, and vendor statements
• Processing vendor payments through checks, ACH, wire transfers, and corporate credit cards
• Maintaining vendor records, onboarding new vendors, and supporting related administrative processes
• Supporting audits, year-end activities, inventory-related accounting processes, and continuous process improvement initiatives

Requirements

• 3+ years of full-cycle Accounts Payable experience
• Strong Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables, and data analysis
• Experience working with ERP systems or computerized Accounts Payable software
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication skills with a collaborative and team-oriented approach

Pay

$55,000–$65,000/year
