Title: Accounts Payable Specialist Location: Bensenville, Illinois Assignment Type: 3-month contract with the possibility of extensions Compensation: $26 - $28 / Hour depending on relevant experience Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Job Responsibilities: Process high volume of PO and non-PO invoices accurately and timelyMatch invoices with purchase orders and receiving documentationObtain appropriate approvals for non-PO invoices and resolve discrepanciesEnter and code invoices in the accounting systemReconcile vendor statements and resolve outstanding issuesPrepare and process electronic transfers and payments (ACH, wire, checks)Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain strong vendor relationshipsAssist with month-end closing by preparing AP accruals and reportsMaintain and organize AP files and documentation for audit purposesEnsure compliance with internal controls and company policies Requirements: Associate's/Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accounting3–5 years of accounts payable or general accounting experienceProficiency with accounting software and Microsoft ExcelStrong attention to detail and accuracy Why choose Addison Finance and Accounting?
