Overview

Bachner Electro USA is a rapidly growing electrical, data, and security contractor serving industrial, commercial, and mission-critical clients throughout the United States. We are seeking an Accounts Payable & Reporting Specialist to join our accounting team.

Accounts Payable

  • Process vendor invoices accurately and timely.
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation.
  • Ensure proper coding and approval of invoices.
  • Maintain vendor records and respond to vendor inquiries.
  • Prepare and process weekly payment runs.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Auxiliary with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.

Reporting & Accounting Support

  • Prepare recurring monthly financial and operational reports.
  • Auxiliary with account reconciliations and month-end reporting.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Analyze expenses and identify reporting variances.
  • Maintain organized accounting records and documentation.
  • Auxiliary with audits and requests from management.
  • Provide ad hoc reporting and administrative support as needed.

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of Accounts Payable or accounting experience.
  • Experience with ERP/accounting software required.
  • Experience with Sage Intacct strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Construction industry experience is a plus.
  • Experience with job costing and project-based accounting preferred.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
