Overview
Bachner Electro USA is a rapidly growing electrical, data, and security contractor serving industrial, commercial, and mission-critical clients throughout the United States. We are seeking an Accounts Payable & Reporting Specialist to join our accounting team.
Accounts Payable
- Process vendor invoices accurately and timely.
- Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation.
- Ensure proper coding and approval of invoices.
- Maintain vendor records and respond to vendor inquiries.
- Prepare and process weekly payment runs.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Auxiliary with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
Reporting & Accounting Support
- Prepare recurring monthly financial and operational reports.
- Auxiliary with account reconciliations and month-end reporting.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Analyze expenses and identify reporting variances.
- Maintain organized accounting records and documentation.
- Auxiliary with audits and requests from management.
- Provide ad hoc reporting and administrative support as needed.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of Accounts Payable or accounting experience.
- Experience with ERP/accounting software required.
- Experience with Sage Intacct strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Construction industry experience is a plus.
- Experience with job costing and project-based accounting preferred.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
