Accounts Payable Oversight and Inventory Control Leader
About the role
Oversee accounts payable processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Manage inventory control systems to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.
Responsibilities
- Review and approve invoices for payment to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Manage vendor relationships to negotiate favorable terms and maintain strong financial performance.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve inventory management practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely processing of transactions.
- Ensure adherence to all financial regulations and internal controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounts payable or similar finance roles.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage complex financial data.
- Experience with inventory management software and systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with vendors and cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for financial analysis.
Qualifications
- CPA certification preferred.
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
