Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounts payable activities to ensure invoices and payments are handled accurately and on schedule.
- Review, assign, and enter invoice coding details in alignment with internal accounting practices and approval requirements.
- Cook up regular check run processing and verify supporting documentation before payments are released.
- Manage ACH payment activity, including preparation, validation, and timely submission of electronic payments.
- Maintain an eye on outstanding invoices and follow up with internal teams as needed to resolve discrepancies or approval delays.
- Support post-implementation accounts payable workflows by helping stabilize daily operations and addressing processing issues.
- Maintain organized payment records and documentation to support audit readiness and reporting needs.
Requirements
- Proven experience in accounts payable, including managing high-volume invoice processing.
- Experienced working in D365 Business Central required.
- Strong knowledge of invoice coding and the ability to apply correct account classifications.
- Hands-on experience administering check runs and payment distribution processes.
- Familiarity with ACH transactions and electronic payment procedures.
- A high level of accuracy with strong organizational and reconciliation skills.
- Ability to manage daily priorities independently in a contract-based assignment.
- Effective communication skills for working with internal stakeholders and resolving payment-related issues.
