Accounts Payable Lead
Position Overview
The Accounts Payable Lead will be responsible for performing a wide variety of accounts payable functions including invoice processing, check disbursements, and customer-vending relations. All responsibilities are to be performed in accordance with all laws and regulations, as well as Fontainebleau Las Vegas policies, practices, and procedures.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- MATCH INVOICES WITH RECEIVERS, PURCHASE ORDERS, AND REQUISITIONS
- AUDIT INVOICES TO DETERMINE ACCURATE CODING TO PROPER GENERAL LEDGER ACCOUNTS, ESCALATE AND RESOLVE DISCREPANCIES
- PERFORM DATA ENTRY ASSOCIATED WITH ACCOUNTS PAYABLE, AUDIT FOR ACCURACY
- PREPARE AND REVIEW PAYMENT RUNS FOR ACCURACY, PAYMENT TERMS, AND PROPER APPROVAL
- MANTAIN VENDOR ACCOUNTS WHILE STAYING IN COMPLIANCE WITH COMPANY POLICY AND PROCEDURES
- RESEARCH AND RECONCILE MONTHLY VENDOR STATEMENTS
- PROVIDE EXCELLENT SERVICE AND COMMUNICATION TO INTERNAL CUSTOMERS AND EXTERNAL VENDORS, ENSURE ISSUES ARE ADRESSED IN A TIMELY MANNER
- COMMUNICATE PROBLEMS OR DISCREPANCIES TO MANAGEMENT IN A TIMELY AND EFFICIENT MANNER
- SERVE AS SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT AND TRAINER FOR ACCOUNTS PAYABLE PROCESSES FOR ALL HOURLY EMPLOYEES
- ENSURE COMPLIANCE WITH FEDERAL, STATE, AND LOCAL PAYROLL, WAGE, AND HOUR LAWS AND BEST PRACTICES
- AID EMPLOYEES AND BUSINESS PARTNERS WITH INQUIRIES, CONCERNS, OR REQUESTS REGARDING ACCOUNTS PAYABLE
- RESEARCH AND RESOLVE ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ISSUES IN A TIMELY MANNER
- TRAIN AND PROVIDE DAILY OPERATIONAL DIRECTION TO ACCOUNTS PAYABLE NEW AND CURRENT HIRES ON THE PROCEDURES OF THE ACCOUNTS PAYABLE DEPARTMENT
- PERFORM OTHER JOB-RELATED DUTIES AND PROJECTS AS ASSIGNED
Qualification Requirements
- MUST BE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OF AGE
- TWO (2) YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN ACCOUNTS PAYABLE
- PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE RUNNING HIGH VOLUME ON- AND OFF-CYCLE ACCOUNTS PAYABLE PROCESSES
- SOLID UNDERSTANDING AND WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF ACCOUNTS PAYABLE PROCESSES AND SYSTEMS
- MUST HAVE BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF MICROSOFT OFFICE SOFTWARE

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations. Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.
Reasoning Abilities
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Physical Demands
- While performing the duties of this job, the Member is regularly required to stand and use hands and fingers to handle or utilize objects, tools, or controls.
- The Member frequently is required to reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision.
- The Member must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.

SALARY
$25.63 per hour
