Accounts Payable II
Responsibilities
- Process and review vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update accounts payable records and documentation.
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve invoice issues.
- Aid with month-end and year-end closing procedures and reporting.
- Support the implementation of accounts payable policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- You Must Have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- One or more years of relevant accounts payable or accounting experience.
- A higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
- A strong understanding of accounting principles.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Proficiency with Automated Accounting Systems.
- Analytical abilities, time management, organizational and communication skills are essential.
- We Prefer:
- An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry.
- Advanced knowledge of accounts payable practices.
- Knowledge of Sales and Use Tax requirements.
- Ability to work on a computer for extended periods.
- Ability to communicate effectively in an office environment.
- Flexibility to work in a hybrid office environment.
- Some travel may be required.
