About the role

The Accounting & Finance Department at Safety National is dynamic and collaborative, providing best-in-class service to both internal and external customers within expected timeframes. Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable transactions across multiple companies.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual statement filings.
  • Aid in 1099 reporting.
  • Support a variety of accounting and administrative functions.
  • Collaborate with teammates across the organization while managing multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
  • Required Qualifications: Strong oral and written communication skills, ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously, dependable, organized, self-motivated, and accountable with a professional attitude, proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, strong data entry and attention-to-detail skills, ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team, ability to maintain a positive attitude while adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment, must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with accounts payable processing, experience working with PeopleSoft or similar enterprise financial systems, experience preparing 1099 reporting and supporting quarterly and annual financial statement filings, experience processing wire transfers, ACH payments, and payment vouchers, experience supporting accounting reconciliations and administrative projects within a finance environment.

  • This position allows for a hybrid work schedule which includes a minimum of 3 days per week in our St. Louis Corporate Office, located at 1832 Schuetz Rd. Saint Louis, MO. Pay

The target base salary range for this position is $46,000 to $60,000. Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience and geographic location.

Schedule

This position allows for a hybrid work schedule which includes a minimum of 3 days per week in our St. Louis Corporate Office, located at 1832 Schuetz Rd. Saint Louis, MO.
