Accounts Payable Coordinator

Job Responsibilities

  • Aid in establishing new AP processes as necessary.
  • Maintain client directives, vendor accounts, and contact information.
  • Perform reconciliations and oversee vendor invoices, statements, and credit card receipts.
  • Secure approvals from attorneys and management as needed.
  • Ensure timely payment to vendors and cost processing.
  • Liaise with the billing team to ensure timely cost billing.
  • Follow and enforce AP policies and procedures.

Requisite Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Show strong detail orientation and issue identification/resolution capabilities.
  • Have experience working with a high-volume data entry processing team.
  • Be knowledgeable in general accounting principles and procedures.
  • Be highly proficient with MS Excel, including advanced features like Pivots and VLOOKUPs.
  • Be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Make independent decisions and meet time-sensitive deadlines.
  • Identify workflow limitations and suggest improvements.

Required Education And Training

  • Associate's degree in Accounting or equivalent education and experience.
  • Minimum of five years of progressive Accounts Payable experience.
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Excel.

Job Details And Compensation
