Accounts Payable Coordinator

As the Accounts Payable Coordinator, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the Finance department in a high-end hospitality setting.
Responsibilities
- Handle vendor inquiries and ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices.
- Manage recurring payments and maintain the payment schedule for accurate financial reporting.
- Record expenses and ensure proper allocation to the correct accounts and departments.
- Process daily check runs and ensure proper separation of duties within cash disbursement processes.
- Post and reconcile daily Accounts Payable transactions.
- Follow up on outstanding or disputed invoices to ensure timely resolution and payment.
- Perform reconciliation of accounts payable-related balance sheet accounts.
- Enter and reconcile Club Holdings payables as part of the daily accounting process.
- Reconcile outgoing payments and Club Holdings bank accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in creating and maintaining Accounting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Bring a positive attitude and assist in various departments as needed.
- Cross-train in Accounts Receivable and General Ledger functions to support the overall department.
- Perform additional duties as requested by Bluejack leadership.
Requirements
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
- Prior accounting experience in high-end golf/country club or hospitality industry is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software; experience with NorthStar is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Valid Texas Driver’s License and compliance with driver safety policy requirements.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, with weekends as needed. Schedule is flexible as business dictates.
