Accounts Payable Clerk

Responsibilities

  • Verify the accuracy of data, including invoices, receipts, and expense reports
  • Aid in processing accounts payable invoices, including matching invoices with purchase orders, coding expenses, and obtaining approvals
  • Aid in the preparation of financial reports, statements, and summaries
  • Aid in compiling information for internal and external audits
  • Perform other duties as required to support the Accounting Department

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar field, or 1-year equivalent accounts payable experience
  • Experience using financial/accounting software
  • Strong organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines
  • Ability to work independently

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in organizations with a workforce of 1,500

Qualifications

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar preferred, or 1-year equivalent accounts payable experience
  • Experience using financial/accounting software
  • Strong organization and attention to detail
