Responsibilities

• Managing all facets of the accounts payable function, including invoice processing, payment processing, and record keeping.
• Ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and purchase orders.
• Reconciling vendor statements and resolving any discrepancies or issues.
• Maintaining vendor relationships by responding to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Preparing and processing electronic transfers and payments.
• Implementing and maintaining systems, procedures, and policies to ensure adherence to company guidelines.
• Assisting with month-end closing procedures and audits as needed.
• Providing support to the consulting team and other departments as required.
• Using QuickBooks software to track and manage financial transactions.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role, preferably within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is a must. Experience with other financial software will be considered a plus.
• A strong understanding of accounting principles, data entry, and the ability to handle complex financial records.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
