Accounts Payable Clerk

Responsibilities

• Process corporate accounts payable invoices, daily checks, and electronic payments
• Daily data entry including corporate AP and Capex vouchers, expense reports, credit memos, and intercompany invoices
• Generate daily USD checks and route for signature and mailing
• Process daily USD ACHs
• Generate weekly CAD checks and process weekly CAD ACHs
• File paid AP vouchers
• Import various electronic invoices for payment
• Assist in posting AP vouchers, voucher adjustments, debit memos, and payment adjustments at month-end for closing
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum 2+ years accounts payable experience in industry or public accounting

Preferred Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Oracle accounting systems experience desired
• Excellent math skills, including statistical analysis
• Highly organized with superior time management skills
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Self-motivated and extroverted personality
• Ability to work well with all levels of the corporation

Working Conditions and Physical Demands

• Physical Demands: Frequently must remain in a stationary position (Sit), move about inside/outside office or work location (Walk), operate a computer and other office machinery (Use hands to finger, handle or feel), position one's self to maintain computers in the lab including under desks and in the server closet (Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl), ascend/descend on a ladder (Climb or balance), and use senses to effectively communicate with co-workers and clients and detect hazardous conditions (Talk, hear, taste, smell)
• Weight and Force Demands: Frequently up to 10 pounds; Occasionally up to 50 pounds

The Accounts Payable Clerk role may involve exposure to unpleasant or disagreeable physical environments such as high noise levels, strong odors, and/or exposure to heat and cold.
