Position Summary
The Accounts Payable clerk is responsible for receiving, processing, verifying and paying invoices, supporting the accounting manager of the entity.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Complete payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices
- Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports, recording entries
- Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors
- Process payment of employee’s expenses claims via our software Concur
- Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
Skills And Qualifications
- Must be willing to do bookkeeping respecting basic accounting procedures
- Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Aptitude for numbers
- Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks
- No experience required
