Accounts Payable Assistant Manager

About the role
ENTACT is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant Manager to work in our Westmont, IL office. This role will begin with in-office training and transition to a hybrid arrangement upon successful completion.
Responsibilities
- Entering monthly admin/utility invoices, rents, and miscellaneous additional invoices.
- Processing credit card statements.
- Responding to vendor questions/emails.
- Reviewing unapproved invoices.
- Assisting in weekly check runs.
- Overseeing expense reports for proper approvals and coding.
- Completing credit applications, including terms and conditions for new vendors.
- Adding and maintaining vendor records.
- Assisting in the management and supervision of the AP staff.
- Assisting the Accounts Payable Manager as needed.
- Interacting with the Controller and ENTACT Management.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of Accounts Payable experience.
- Experience with accounting software, Microsoft Word, Excel, 10-key, and general office equipment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage workload and adjust priorities to meet deadlines.
- Experience in managing others preferred.
- Construction accounting experience preferred.

- Exertion of up to 25 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects may be required.
- Close visual acuity for viewing a computer, extensive reading, and preparing/analyzing data and figures.
- Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computers, calculators, and copiers.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, technical procedures, and government regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Interpersonal communication and relationship development skills are critical for job success.
- Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
- Ability to safely travel by air, car, train, or bus.
Work Environment
The job is primarily performed indoors in a traditional office setting.
Pay
The salary range for this position is $60,000–$80,000 per year.
