Accounting Team Manager - Remote (Multi-Client Experience Required)

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee multiple accounting teams, ensuring compliance with general accounting principles and specialized areas such as inventory, e-commerce, not-for-profit compliance, real estate, startups, and franchises.
• Develop and implement processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the accounting department.
• Make informed decisions based on data analysis and strategic planning.
• Mentor and lead a team of accountants, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate various software applications and systems.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of graduated experience in small business accounting operations across multiple industries and company types.
• A strong understanding and practical application of general accounting principles.
• Specialized knowledge in inventory management, e-commerce accounting, not-for-profit compliance, real estate development, and startup accounting.
• Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho, R365, Sage/Intacct, Netsuite, Dext, Expensify, Bill.com, Veem, Hubdoc, Avalara, TaxJar, Google Workspace, Sharefile, OneDrive, Dropbox, and Sharepoint.

Qualifications

• A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• A CPA certification is a plus.
