This role oversees tax preparation and review for individuals and businesses, including federal, state, and local returns. Daily responsibilities include managing tax planning engagements, ensuring tax compliance deadlines are met, and supervising staff on tax and accounting projects. The manager prepares and reviews financial statements, reconciles accounts, and maintains documentation to support filings and reports. The role also involves communicating with clients, answering tax and accounting questions, and identifying opportunities to improve processes and client outcomes.Qualifications Demonstrated expertise in Tax Preparation and Tax Compliance for individuals and businesses.Strong skills in Tax Planning and advisory work to optimize client tax positions.Ability to prepare, review, and interpret Financial Statements and related reports.Comprehensive understanding of Tax laws and regulations and willingness to stay current with changes.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA license, Enrolled Agent or eligibility strongly preferred.Experience in public accounting with prior supervisory or managerial responsibilities.Proficiency with accounting and tax software, and strong Microsoft Excel skills.Excellent analytical, organizational, and time-management abilities, with attention to detail.Clear and professional communication skills, with a commitment to client service and ethical practice.
