Tax & Accounting Manager

Requirements

• 5+ years tax/accounting
• QuickBooks
• CPA/EA (or actively pursuing)

Job Duties

• Own the client-facing seat and grow into our second-in-command -- eventually running day-to-day operations
• Build real relationships with top clients
• Create systems that scale
• Recruit and develop the team as we grow
• Own full client relationships for tax advisory and bookkeeping -- year-round, not just April
• Review and prepare individual and business returns; build tax plans that actually move the needle
• Oversee monthly bookkeeping and financial statements; onboard messy books and clean them up
• Be the technical resource for complex tax questions -- the person the team trusts
• Communicate with affluent clients in a way that makes hard decisions feel simple

What You Need

• 5+ years with individual and business tax returns
• 5+ years with QuickBooks Online or comparable system
• Comfortable advising on equity compensation, real estate, and business ownership
• Strong client-facing communication skills
• CPA or EA (or actively pursuing)
