Your Job Koch Inc, a large multinational company across various industries, is seeking a Tax Accounting Manager to join our tax accounting team. Tax law and technology is ever changing and as such, the reporting and accounting for tax positions continues to transform and develop. About the Role
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual income tax provision processes to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with ASC 740 Own income tax workpapers and disclosures for the US GAAP financial statement audit Participate in communicating anticipated tax results to key stakeholders based on business operations and key drivers Participate in analysis of economic and tax impacts of various business opportunities Build relationship and partner with various tax, accounting and business team members to understand and optimize various business tax positions Provide leadership and development of analysts and senior analysts throughout the tax accounting organization Identify and drive waste elimination and transformation opportunities that will provide value within the tax accounting organization
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Progressive career experience in corporate income taxation, tax accounting, financial reporting, or accounting related roles
- Demonstrated ability to manage large volumes of data from multiple systems and use advanced tools to perform analysis and develop a point of view
- Proficient understanding and application of ASC740 principles including but not limited to income tax provisions, effective tax rates, deferred tax balances, valuation allowances, etc.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience presenting financial concepts to various audiences to effectively engage stakeholders and partnering with others to bridge gaps and solve problems
- Experience with Alteryx, Sigma, or other data analysis platforms
- Experience with ONESOURCE Tax Provision software
