Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Tax & Accounting Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of tax compliance, planning, and accounting within the organization. They are responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with tax laws and regulations, and implementing strategies to minimize tax liabilities while maximizing financial efficiency.
Key Objectives
- Work in all phases of tax planning, tax preparation, review, compliance, and research
- Use tax software with Thomson Reuters UltraTax CS, Microsoft Office, and Intuit QuickBooks
- Demonstrate knowledge of prevailing tax laws and developments
- Apply knowledge of current issues in tax, regulatory requirements, and industry-specific concerns to clients and recommend strategies
- Prepare various tax returns, including Individual, Fiduciary, Corporate, Partnership, and Multistate
- Be proactive, self-motivated, well organized, and possess the ability to manage work effectively with others while managing client relationships
- Manage more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting team
- Coordinate administrative functions as assigned by the partners
- Recognize opportunities to provide additional services to existing clients and efficiencies within the workplace

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- CPA
- Real Estate background (Preferred)
- At least 7+ years of experience in a CPA firm
- Experience using UltraTax CS, Checkpoint, Microsoft Office Suite, and Intuit products (Preferred)
