Accounting Supervisor

About the role

Red Castle is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to join their team in Manama, Bahrain. This is a full-time position within the Accountant job type category.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the daily accounting operations
• Supervise accounting staff and ensure accurate financial reporting
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Prepare financial statements and reports
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Accounting Supervisor or similar role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Experience with financial reporting and general ledger functions
• Excellent supervisory and team management skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred

• Solid understanding of Bahrain's financial regulations and tax laws
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
