Accounting Supervisor

A bit about us: We are currently seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to join our dynamic client in the residential services industry. This is a permanent position designed for a diligent, detail-oriented professional with a strong background in accounting and a passion for the construction industry.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Lead and manage the month-end and year-end close process
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
- Supervise, mentor, and review the work of accounting staff
- Identify opportunities for process and procedure improvements within the accounting function
- Aid in the design and implementation of internal controls and standardized workflows
- Collaborate with FP&A and senior finance leadership on reporting and process initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally including construction, real estate, or project-based industries
- Prior supervisory or team lead experience preferred
- Strong understanding of GL accounting and month-end close processes
- Demonstrated experience driving process/procedure improvements
- CPA a plus, not required
- Strong Excel skills; ERP/construction accounting software experience a plus

Salary: $115,000 - $125,000 per year
