Accounting Supervisor

About the role

The Accounting Supervisor role supports the Global Business Financial Services organization (GBFS) and may also partner with the AR COE (Accounts Receivable Center of Excellence). This accounting function provides oversight of key areas such as admin fees, customer rebates, and supplier chargebacks.

Responsibilities

• Provides accounting oversight of several key areas performed by the GBFS organization including admin fees, rebates, and chargeback accounts.
• Strategically and effectively identifies improvement opportunities.
• Identifies the appropriate tools, approach, and cross-functional involvement to execute on opportunities that are identified.
• Communicates effectively and efficiently to all levels within the organization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience in related field, preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Audit & controls background preferred
• CPA Preferred
• SAP or HFM Experience preferred
• Blackline experience highly desired
• Aleryx, Power BI, or other automation experience highly desired

What is expected of you and others at this level

• Oversees work conducted by outsourced staff and maintains the integrity of accounting records by ensuring that outsourced staff comply with accounting policies and procedures.
• Assists in the management of the monthly financial close process, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, balance sheet reconciliation, and performing timely review of results for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with US GAAP.
• Drives timely completion of local financial statements filings and other compliance requirements for several legal entities concurrently through coordination with local service providers, FP&A, Tax, Legal, and External Auditors.
• Develops technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.
• Reviews customer contracts and applies concepts for necessary reserves.
• Administers and exercises policies and procedures.
• Frequently interacts with subordinates, and peer groups at various management levels.
• Interacts normally involve information exchange and basic problem resolution.

Anticipated salary range

$80,900 - $115,500
