PRIMARY FUNCTION
The primary function of the Accounting Specialist is to utilize organizational and interpersonal skills to effectively support technician purchases in the field, complete payments and control expenses by receiving, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices.
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Assists with data entry, documents scans and archives
- Analyzes, reviews and reconciles monthly vendor statements
- Communicates with vendors to discuss vendor accounts
- Maintains up to date and accurate records
- Ensures relevant paperwork, forms and notes are submitted
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- High school degree required
- 3+ years of prior Accounts Payable experience strongly preferred
- Attention to detail and proven ability to spot errors and inconsistencies
- Strong system skills including Microsoft Word and Excel, reporting software and database skills
- Exhibits a high level of integrity
- Must be able to demonstrate professional communication with customers and internal departments
- Experience with ServiceTrade, SAGE 300 and or Timberscan is a plus
