Responsibilities
- Assist in various ways during month-end close
- Provide cross check on cattle costs & wires
- Review and verify invoices and check requests
- Sort, code and match invoices
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
- Maintain vendor files
- Produce monthly reports and assist in month end closing
- Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records
- Employee meat orders and charges
- Create purchase requisitions
- Weekly bank deposit reconciliation
Minimum Requirements
High School degree required. Accounting experience preferred.
Abilities Required
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word)
- Ability to multi-task
- Must be willing to work well with others and cross-train on multiple jobs
- Good Attendance is very crucial – Internal candidates must have 2 or fewer points
