Job Summary
Key Deliverables and Responsibilities
- Update Accounting systems and databases, including daily transactions, schedules, general ledger entries, and related records.
- Process scheduled compensation, including management fee and service fee calculations, with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Own assigned queue work and routine team tasks while meeting service expectations and maintaining accountability.
- Supply information and responsive service to management, associates, and financial professionals as needed.
- Protect confidential information, data, and files through appropriate planning, accuracy, and security awareness.
- Use department systems, spreadsheets, approved technology tools, and approved Agentic AI capabilities to support accurate processing, research, efficiency, and process improvement.
- Apply analytical thinking, curiosity, and sound judgment to research issues, identify patterns, make good-quality decisions, and understand the reasoning behind those decisions.
- Demonstrate an improvement and change champion mindset by adapting quickly, supporting process transitions, and identifying opportunities to streamline work.
- Develop subject matter expertise and pursue continued growth within Accounting and Cambridge Investment Research.
What We Are Looking For
- Ability to read and interpret rules, instructions, manuals, and department procedures; communicate clearly in writing and verbally with associates, management, and financial professionals.
- Foundational math knowledge with the ability to use Excel and other tools to support accurate calculations, data review, and reporting.
- Ability to apply common sense, analytical thinking, and sound judgment to make quality decisions and recognize when research or escalation is needed.
- Technology-savvy mindset with the ability to use database software, email, spreadsheets, word processing, company proprietary systems, and approved Agentic AI capabilities.
- Ability to self-motivate, work independently, organize priorities, manage queue work, and perform well under pressure.
- Ability to think beyond basic data entry by asking thoughtful questions, identifying patterns, researching issues, and recommending practical solutions.
- Ability to welcome change, adapt quickly, support process transitions, and demonstrate curiosity, outside-the-box thinking, and an improvement mindset.

Phoenix, AZ, or Fairfield, IA – Hybrid in-office 3 days/week
