Accounting Projects Analyst

Responsibilities

• Support and/or lead projects aimed at enhancing business processes through automation and system improvements
• Aid with system implementations and enhancements, including immediate support for a new billing system rollout
• Perform detailed user acceptance testing (UAT) and coordinate issue resolution with internal teams and third-party vendors
• Partner with Accounting subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and produce clear, actionable documentation
• Develop and maintain process documentation to support operational consistency and compliance
• Refined and developed reporting tools and dashboards to support Accounting and Finance decision-making
• Implement enhancements to the control environment and supporting compliance initiatives
• Develop and perform user training as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in analytics, systems, data, finance, accounting, or a related function
• Strong SQL and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Oracle OTBI, or SSRS
• Familiarity with ERP systems, including Oracle Financials, and related accounting applications
• Experience with system implementations, enhancements, and user acceptance testing
• Experience developing business requirements and process documentation
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
