About the role
We are partnering with a well-established organization to identify an Accounting Manager to join its growing finance leadership team. This opportunity has become available following an internal organizational restructure and offers the chance to lead a high-performing accounting team while partnering closely with executive leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
- Oversee general ledger activity, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals
- Manage job cost accounting, work-in-process reporting, and cost allocations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports
- Support annual audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance activities
- Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and financial processes
- Partner cross-functionally with operations, inventory, customer service, IT, and finance leadership
- Support financial system reporting and data integrity
- Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy
Requirements
- Strong month-end close leadership and accounting judgment
- Analytical mindset with exceptional problem-solving abilities

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Prior experience managing or leading accounting staff
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Lookups, and large data analysis
- ERP experience required; experience with Epicor, Hyperion, OneStream, or Adaptive Insights is a plus
