Accounting Manager

About the role

The Accounting Manager oversees day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the organization's financial records. This role leads the month-end close process, supports financial reporting, maintains compliance with accounting standards, and helps develop efficient accounting processes. The ideal candidate is a hands-on accountant with strong analytical skills and a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Manage the month-end and year-end close process, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Prepare financial reports, analyze variances, and support management with financial information.
• Maintain fixed assets, assist with tax filings, and ensure compliance with accounting policies and GAAP.
• Support internal and external audits and help improve accounting processes and internal controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams while managing multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience; CPA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and month-end close.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP software.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Pay

Up to $90,000 per year, based on experience.
