Accounting Manager

About The Role The role owns the financial accounting operations and internal controls, ensuring rigorous compliance with US GAAP, SOX, and SEC reporting frameworks. The accounting manager will partner with executive leadership and external auditors to streamline financial close processes, manage technical accounting policies, and maintain the integrity of the general ledger. Key Responsibilities Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes in compliance with US GAAPOversee SOX compliance, designing, testing, and improving internal controls across financial reporting workflowsPrepare SEC filings, financial statements, and technical accounting memos for complex transactionsCoordinate annual financial audits and manage relationships with external audit teamsSupervise general ledger accounting, accounts payable, and payroll operations using NetSuite and advanced ExcelPartner with FP&A and business operations to analyze budget variances and forecast cash flows What We Are Looking For 5-8 years of accounting experience combining Big 4 public accounting and corporate finance rolesActive CPA license and deep expertise in US GAAP, SOX, and SEC regulatory frameworksHands-on experience with modern ERP systems such as NetSuite or Workday, alongside advanced spreadsheet modeling skillsStrong cross-functional communication skills with a proven track record of managing audit timelines and deliverablesBonus: Experience scaling accounting operations within a high-growth technology company or pre-IPO environment
