Accounting Manager

About The Role The role leads the accounting function, ensuring financial integrity, rigorous US GAAP compliance, and robust internal controls across all operations. The Accounting Manager will partner with finance and executive leadership to scale financial systems, oversee financial reporting, and manage SOX and SEC readiness. Key Responsibilities Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting under US GAAPOversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll operations using NetSuite and advanced financial toolsDesign, implement, and maintain internal controls compliant with SOX frameworks and regulatory standardsCoordinate annual financial statement audits and manage relationships with external CPA firmsAnalyze financial data and variance reports to surface operational insights and financial risks to leadershipAutomate accounting workflows and upgrade financial tooling to drive efficiency and scalability What We Are Looking For 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or high-growth technology environmentsActive CPA license and deep technical proficiency in US GAAP, SOX compliance, and SEC reporting frameworksAdvanced technical expertise in ERP systems such as NetSuite, coupled with advanced spreadsheet and data analysis capabilitiesProven track record of managing month-end closes, leading audits, and improving financial controlsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldBonus: Big 4 public accounting experience, IPO readiness background, or experience scaling accounting operations in a remote-first tech company
