About The Role The Accounting Manager owns the core financial operations, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, SOX, and SEC reporting frameworks for a growing technology enterprise. The role directs month-end close processes, oversees technical accounting research, and partners with cross-functional leaders to maintain robust internal controls and financial integrity. Key Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes in accordance with US GAAPOversee technical accounting assessments for complex transactions, revenue recognition, and equity administrationDesign, implement, and maintain SOX 404 internal controls and streamline accounting workflowsCoordinate annual external financial audits and ensure timely preparation of SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q)Leverage ERP systems and financial automation tools (NetSuite, Workday, or similar) to optimize reporting efficiencyMentor and develop senior accountants and financial analysts on the corporate finance team What We Are Looking For 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience combining public accounting (Big 4 preferred) and industry rolesActive CPA license requiredDeep technical expertise in US GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial statement preparationAdvanced proficiency with ERP systems and Excel; experience with SQL or data visualization tools is a plusBonus: Experience scaling accounting operations within a high-growth, venture-backed technology company
