About the role
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to support continued growth and oversee key aspects of the accounting function. This role will report directly to the CFO and partner closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Planning, and Operations.
Responsibilities
- Support the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Aid in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Perform account reconciliations across key areas including cash, A/R, accruals, and other balance sheet accounts
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and support general ledger activities
- Assist with fixed assets, payroll, and accrual accounting processes
- Manage bank reconciliations and cash flow tracking
- Contribute to financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities
- Analyze financial data and support development of KPIs and performance metrics
- Identify process improvement opportunities and enhance internal controls
- Provide insights to help drive operational efficiency and financial performance
- Oversee the accounts receivable function, including maintaining A/R aging and monitoring collections
- Proactively reduce aged receivables through customer outreach and collection efforts
- Manage full-cycle A/R activities, including invoicing, collections, credit memos, and adjustments
- Reconcile A/R subledger to the general ledger and ensure accurate posting of transactions
- Review and validate chargebacks, deductions, and customer claims
- Partner with Sales and customers to resolve discrepancies and improve cash flow
- Reconcile invoice details with fulfillment and shipping reports
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, including Senior Accountant and A/R personnel
- Partner with internal teams (Sales, Planning, Operations) to support business needs
- Communicate effectively with both internal stakeholders and external partners
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5–7 years of accounting experience, preferably in fashion, retail, or consumer products
- Experience working with ERP systems such as NetSuite (or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting fundamentals
- Experience managing accounts receivable and general ledger functions
- Background in high-growth or entrepreneurial environments is a plus

Benefits
- Base Salary: $125,000 – $150,000
- Bonus: 10% performance-based
