Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements
• Manage a team
• Support audits
• Perform various accounting functions with respect to general ledger accounting, financial statements and account analysis
• Prepare schedules and financial statement highlights
• Ensure account activity is recorded, corrections are made, adjustments are calculated and journal entries are prepared
• Assist with budget preparation and forecasting
• Review and prepare month/year end reports, accrual schedules and ad-hoc reports and analysis
• Review and verify entries to ensure accuracy of all account figures
• Assist with external and internal audits
• Oversee bank reconciliations and cash posting reports

Qualifications

• CPA with strong public experience preferred
• Strong Auditing Background
• Strong GL month end close
• Strong technical Accounting GAAP, internal Controls, and accruals
