Accounting Manager CPA

A hybrid position available in Paramus, New Jersey.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, manage a team, and perform a strong close
• Support audits by performing various accounting functions including general ledger accounting, financial statements, and account analysis
• Show strong technical skills in Accounting GAAP, internal controls, and accruals
• Create schedules and financial statement highlights, ensuring accurate recording of account activity, corrections, adjustments, and journal entries
• Assist with budget preparation and forecasting, preparing month/year end reports, accrual schedules, and ad-hoc reports and analyses
• Review and verify entries to ensure accuracy of all account figures
• Assist with external and internal audits, overseeing bank reconciliations and cash posting reports

Requirements

Big 4 CPA certification preferred with a strong background in auditing.
