Accounting Intern

Key Responsibilities

• Help prepare invoice and expense reports.
• Aid in collecting and preparing monthly financial reports for review.
• Communicate with accounts payable and accounts receivable to track invoices and other essential information.
• Aid the accounting team with budgets, forecasting, audit, and other accounting processes.
• Perform data entry for accounting functions including accounts payable, receivables, and other processing.
• Create and maintain filing systems for accounting functions.
• Perform any general clerical duties to assist the accounting department.

Requirements

• Working towards completing your Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant Accounting/Finance degree.
• Currently attending a college or university in a related degree program such as Accounting / Finance / etc.
• Interest in construction industry preferred, but not required.
• Excellent communication, organization, attention to detail & computer skills.
• Creative problem solving skills.
• Strong knowledge in Microsoft Excel.
• Interest in private accounting practices preferred, but not required.

Qualifications

Includes: $22/hr starting wage. $150 Apparel Allowance
