Responsibilities
- Printing, processing and matching invoices
- Keying payments and journal entries into SAP system
- Calculating and verifying accuracy of vendor transactions
- Resolving A/P issues with vendors and internal staff
- Maintain and update vendor records
- Perform other duties as required
Qualifications
- High school or college student pursuing accounting/finance program
- Must be detail oriented
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good computer skills, including data entry, Microsoft Office and Excel
- Introductory-level accounting courses are an asset
- Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision
- Ability to work in a busy environment
- Accuracy of work
Language Skills
- Ability to read, comprehend and interpret documents and statutes from jurisdictional agencies and governmental units, procedure and policy manuals, contracts and agreements
- Ability to write instructions, procedures, policies, reports and various correspondences
- Ability to speak and present effectively in one-on-one, and in small and large group settings, as well as before customers, government and regulatory agencies
Mathematical Skills
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fundamental accounting spreadsheets
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations
- Ability to analyze large amounts of data and provide summaries and comparisons
